Yeah, I'm still alive.

No, I haven't been on IRC in about...five...years...or something.  Feels
like a bloody long time.

My laptop died.  Three and a half years of faithful service, then the old
Toshiba lappy finally lets the blue smoke leak out and the hard drive slowly
dies.  Thankfully, it died slowly enough and predictably enough from old age
that I have everything backed up.  Went online and ordered a new laptop,
too, and it's still on the way.  It's coming, and it'll be here within the
next two weeks or so.

So...yeah.  Still alive!
