Chapter One:

 Feran Atworth and his friend and partner Samantha 'Sam' Marsh were walking
towards Metamor Keep. They both heard of the Metamor Curse and they wanted
to help the Metamorians in their chosen path of protecting the Southlands
from the evil mage Neji and his lutin hordes.
 The two of them were pretty skilled at using the wreapons they bore. Sam
had a longsword and Feran had a battle staff. Feran was also a mage. He
wanted to learned from the mage known as Rois, who lived at Metamor Keep.
 Feran Atworth was a royal in his hometown of Atworth. Feran had left the
royal life to live as an adventurer. The laws of his homeland stated that a
mage couldn't be a royal. Feran looked at Sam and thought of the day they
met.

 Flashback begins here

* *Three years ago

* Feran was sitting at a table by himself in an inn when a tall and muscular
young woman came into the inn. She wore a set of leather armor that fitted
her body like a glove. Most of the men in the inn reacted like drunken men
and failed to see the way that the woman stood and walked was that of a
trained warrior and treated the woman as a 'fallen woman' and Feran was the
only one to see that the woman was a trained warrior. The weapon master at
his father's keep would have given him a whole day of fixing and cleaning
armor if he didn't see that. Feran watched as she punched the men in the
face and they fell unconscious.*
* Feran went over and said," Young warrior, I'm not to treat you like these
drunken idiots did. Let me buy you a mug of ale, please."*
* The woman told him her name and they became friends.*
* Sam and Feran had left the village of Atwood and they became adventurers.*
