[Mkguild] Canonicity of Fox Cutter's Origins?

Last I recall, Fox was somewhat grandfathered in as a universe hopper after it was decided to keep the universe self contained. To the best of my knowledge, he is still considered to be from a modern, real world setting, but is assimilated enough for it not to make much difference.

Dear Chris,

How canon, exactly, is Fox Cutter’s origin as someone from a world similar to our own supposed to be?  (He mentions Pompeii in ‘Deeper Underground’ and says, “You have no idea,” in a stage whisper to himself when Misha comments, “Fox, at times it amazes me just how different a world you come from,” in that same story.)

Intrigued,
