Thats a pretty bold travel plan!! Im not sure a balloon would make it across the ocean to Fan Shaor.. The Aelves are liable to not take kindly to someone traveling over their territory! the rest sounds cool.\

Happy anniversary Chris!
Hi AmigaDragon!
> I really have to get back to work on my characters, finish the current story I have mostly done. If Thanh and Binh get involved in any way, I'll have to go ahead and decide which curse Binh gets (sometime around 708-709) and what they've been up to since their January 708 arrival. I have some other minor characters thought up that might be useful at least for cameos, I just have to start writing them too.
Well, I'm hoping to get more characters involved than just my two, though someone else contacted me and I'll probably have a third. I was thinking the balloon could hold up to fourteen characters plus equipment once it's done being built (in real life that's the most any hot air balloon can hold). Thanh and Binh would be most welcome!
I can't recall the exact day in September that the Battle of the Three Gates happened, but I was thinking that the expedition could either leave on that date or return on it. There would be time enough even if they left in summer - eighty days is just shy of three months. If it was September 1 the latest they could leave would be June 13. If it was September 30th then the latest would be July 12. If they leave on that date, the return date could range from November 20 to December 19.
My thought is that they will leave MK to the south and head east, holding close to the Great Barrier Mountains initially. I'm not sure how feasible going over the Aelfwood would be since there's no info on the site. Then to the Eastern Regions and Oriental Coastlands. Up they'd go north and cross the sea to Fan Shoar. They'd keep to the western coast, down to Irombi and stopping briefly in Espaku (Spake). Then west to Sonngefilde over to Kitchlande and north over the Boreaux Swamp. Then the Pyralian Confederation and from there to either the Sathmore Empire or the Flatlands. Then the Southern Midlands, Northern Midlands and back to the Keep! (phew!)
Thoughts? Anyone see a problem with this? Want somewhere specific for the travelers to stop?

Rimme has been diligently working on the wiki for which II do give my thanks!
But it came to my attention that December 16th will be the 20th anniversary of me posting my first MK story - welcoming committee!.
Wow! It's been a wild a fun time so far! Good friends made and met. Stories written and read.
I am looking forward to many more years and stories and friends!

Wow, that long. A fun and great ride that I hope isn't over for some
time. Enjoyed every minute of it.
