Hello, it's ya girl HawlSera.

Years ago I wrote stories for Metamor Keep. Stories some people liked, some
people didn't.

Stories that seemed to involve a massive cast and leading to all kinds of
places.
Then they stopped.

So what happened?

Life happened, plus a lot of the stories I began to feel self-concious
about. I had such bold plans for tales, for spin-offs of those tales....
The vision of accomplishing in months what our own Rat of Might did in
years. Obviously not a task for a sane person, nor one I could accomplish
without being a god which, to ignore sound advice once offered by the
Ghostbusters, I must say that I am most certainly not.

Unfortunately, while I do have a passion for Fantasy. I also have Bi-Polar,
and with it a flight of ideas too big for me to contain sometimes. It's
years later I'm diagnosed and on medication.

I could retcon the previous stories I've written, since I feel... like
they.. aren't as good as they could have been. But I won't, they were
placed before the community and judged worthy. I will not remove the works.
Besides we all have done things that weren't as good as we wanted them to
be, we have failed to achieve perfection. Still our mistakes serve as a
foundation for the future, and towards Metamor's future I shall look.
Sides.. I literally don't have time to rewrite everything. I may go back
and fix some typos though. I did find corrections AmigaDragon sent me that
I forgot to implement before I had them put onto the list.

Some very confusing, the worst of which involving Zyhx being mistakingly
called Xhyz when the two are different characters entirely. The most
amusing of which is a scene where Zyhx is described as dealing out a
"Near-lethal blow" that kills the target.... so apparently it was lethal
yet not lethal at the same time

I have some unfinished stories I'd like to finish and put up. The
conclusion to Tales of the Transblade will come with not as many plotlines
as originally intended. But I promise it will be entertaining and well
told. As every story should.

I will list a few plotlines that are being cut or shortened

Malakai and Sargosa's romance - Sargosa was to be revealed to have been
someone with all three curses at once, meaning just like Malakai now, she
will never age.. I have no idea where this would be revealed.

Sargosa's sword- Sargosa's wooden sword was to be revealed to be a mighty
onyx blade called Fissuresque in disguise... It might still be.. we'll see
if I can fit it in

The Half-Lutin Child - When Cedric first comes to Metamor, the female guard
mournfully declares that Lutins only reproduce through rape... This was to
have a payoff in a side story where her highly-neglected Half-Lutin Son is
teased and bullied by other kids.... until getting lessons on fighting from
the knight Dame Seranima Eloniv and learning to stand up for himself. This
has little relevance to anything, so it's likely getting cut.

Fourth Gate - Malisa was to lead a group called "Fourth Gate" which dealt
with supernatural threats to other kingdoms that only Metamor would be
prepared for.. This idea is goofy, trite, and I don't know how to implement
it, so it's cut. Malisa was to use a mace called "Ruin" in this group that
literally weaponized her negative emotions.

Locket The Seagull - In the first story, the Lord of Cornflower is
mentioned to have a pet seagull named Locket.... I was going

The Rivalry - Leo was meant to have a rivalry with Cedric and siding with
the Flesinoir to slay him. Feeling that it was an injustice that Leo, the
brave knight, become a woman, an ultimate insult to one's honor in these
ages... while this commoner wannabe Cedric became a majestic stallion a
perfect symbol of masculinity and knighthood.... Not sure how to fit it
in... it may show up if I figure out how to do so.

The Wedding - and finally Tales of the Transblade was to end with Malisa
and Jenn getting married in a ceremony conducted by Xhyz..... Cute and
sappy, but violates the lore too hard. So... this will be replaced with a
ceremony to help ease Malisa's mental anguish.

I considered cutting out an explanation of who Xhyz is, why he's so weird,
why he can show up to Malisa in her dreams, why Zhyx has such a similar
name, and just what the hell did he mean by those soldiers he killed "Not
having an afterlife"

But that's all far too pivotal, so it remains... and mild spoiler: Xhyz's
excuse about the "Laws of Nature" was a lie, the REAL meaning of what the
hell he did with his tomahawks is far more sinister.

---

I hope you all look forward to my future offerings... but not too much.

I'm lazy... also tired.. it's 3:14 am and I'm going to bed
