Hello
Sound & song based music is most certainly welcome. Magic is pretty free form in MK but your idea sounds good.
And a tribute to Alan Foster would be cool.
That link has some good music. Reminds me of the Baroque stuff I've heard in concerts.
I hope this helps!

The birds, croc, and frilled lizard of Diamond Beak haven't had the
opportunity to perform in an amphitheater or open field. They've played
in the Mule, and the Fellowship's meeting hall. They've practiced in
various locations, usually Bruce's home.

Bruce and the others making magic via their music. That could be
interesting. It would certainly give me an excuse to pay homage to Alan
Foster's work.

They're based in Metamor, what with them being Keepers and all. There
are five members of the band; three birds(Northern mockingbird,
Kookaburra, and Woodpecker), a frilled lizard, and a crocodile.

Matty mentioned something about that event to me some years ago.
Diamond Beak has a, hmmm, unique sound and style. Here's a YouTube
video, played using period-accurate instruments, that almost perfectly
captures their tone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWIGbHhSsGs
