  Here is my finished part

Misha walked over towhere Yuèliàng was. “Greetings. We are eager to hear more about the greatweapon you bear. Yuèjiàn. How old is she?”

“I am some 4,000years old,” Yuèjiàn answered. “And what of Whisper?”

“She is equally old,”Misha responded. “She has seen so much of history. Seen great rise to honor andglory and others fall to the pits of depravity. She has seen great empiresrise, grow, stagnate and fall into ruin.”

“Greetings, my fellow in ruins. I amYuejian, the Moon Sword. Who are you?" Came the soft voice from the magicblade.

A voice, soft but firm came from the axe. "Ihave had many names over the centuries but you can call me Whisper. A name thelutins have given me."

"Well met Whisper. I am pleased to makeyour acquaintance."

"It is a pleasure to meet you. Beenm along time since I have met one of our own."

"Yes, it has been long since I've evenseen my sister, the Celestial Sword. Yet to know others of the runes are outthere is a comfort."

"My four sisters are still out therebut at least 2 of them lie nearby," the axe said. "Closer than incenturies past."

"I know not where my sister went, savethat the corruption of the emperor somehow drove her away. Kasaima-san,however, has information that could help us find her. I hope you and yoursisters are all reunited one day."

“I’ve heard a tale that you got here bywalking over the Great Barrier range,” Misha said.

“Yes,” he responded. “A hard journey but Imanaged it.”

“Amazing Caroline said. “You are the firstto do so.”

“It as an amazing trip,” he responded. “Isaw many amazing things. So many natural wonders and lost history. Perhaps youcan figure out this device. I found it along the way." He hands Misha anegg-shaped device with at tip like leaves. "I couldn't get it to open, andI didn't want to break it.

Misha took the egg shaped itemcarefully.  He examined it for a longmoment. "Very interesting. It's certain automaton. Where did you findit?"

"In one of the ruins along the way. Isuspect there were more, but none were around or intact."

"VERY Interesting! You must tell me ofexactly where they are." Misha says. "I will reward you well."

"If you have a map, I can show you, their locations. Whether you can get to them is a different question."

The fox produced a map from a pocket andunfolded it to reveal a large map in some detail. "Where about?"

Kasaima makes a mark several miles into theBarrier Range. "There is a path there--not smooth, but clearly visible. This building is where I found it. I tried to see if there were others, but Ididn't find any. Of course, they may have been hidden somewhere: I wasn'tlooking to loot the place."

Misha examined themap for a moment. "That is a long way from anywhere."

"Indeed. If I'd know it would interestsomeone, I'd have done a more thorough search. However, I don't think I missedanything obvious--though I was eager to get to the Library here so didn't spendas much time as I could."

"Those mountains are filled with allsorts of lost and amazing things," Misha said. "So much to explore."

   "Indeed!"

“Have you consideredhow you are going to get to the east?” Misha asked.

“We have a flyingcarpet,” he said.

“That’s good,” Misharesponded. “But what path? There is a lot of territory between Metamor and theeast. You cannot fly over the Aelfwood or they will shoot you down right away. And the Desert of Dreams is a deathtrap.”

“I came thru theGreat barrier range to get here,” he responded. “I can take the same routeback.”

“Going to take a lotless time,” Misha joked. “But beware. There are things living up there that aredangerous.”

Apologies for running silent for the last few weeks. Real life has been difficult from just about every angle with lots of plans and adjustments to plans sucking up what would have been used in creative projects. I think part of this started with my confusion over what seemed to be two different endings in the battle and not quite knowing how to mesh in any of my work. If all goes as planned, of course now I’m jinxing myself, the heaviest project will close out at the end of the month. I’ll try to pick up and mesh with what all of you have done at that time. I did have a couple scenes I’d like to get in with Rorlyn working with the two new flyers and giving them pointers as well as working with the issue of speech one of them as. Rorlyn had speech issues right after his change and so knows what a pain that can be.

So, in short, I’m not abandoning the RR, and plan to get back into it soon.
