I did a quick read through of this discussion and have a possible suggestion that is KISS (as Ryx suggested) but also works with magic and Kyia&#39;s abilities.<br>

Why not have the halls running around the outside as Stealth show but every half or quarter way around the tower there be an intersection of hallways.  Now rather then this being on the horizontal plane, as it would appear to a person walking the hall, it is actually on a vertical plane.<br>
