This is one of the greatest transformations a husband can experience. Changing from a Husband to a Father.<br><br>My wife got the call today a little after noon. We have been placed for adoption! Four years of waiting and suddenly, BAM!<br><br>The little girl who is going to be our daughter was born Dec 28th, and we should be picking her up sometime next week. The next few days will be a mad scramble to buy all of the things we're going to need (car seats, changing table, crib, diapers, clothes, bottles, formula, etc...). My wife and I will also be having a big talk tonight once she gets home to decide what we're going to do going forward with everything.<br><br>One thing this does mean is that my participation in the fandom is going to take a big back seat for a while. I'll try to come online to chat on the weekends, and I do hope to still attend Furnal Equinox and Anthrocon, but as of now my attendance at either is
provisional. Also, my writing is going to be downgraded in priority, but I also hope to keep it up.<br><br>Keep my family in your prayers.
