I recently came across an artist on dA who is in need of funds
immediately, and as such has opened up commissions, with no limit as
of right now. Look into it. Might be a great option, plus you help

Some of those suggestions for background sounds good. I figure the Keep is
good to have in the background, as would a few other places, Deaf Mule, Glen
Avery, the Library, Long House, etc...
What we need to do is come up with a way of ranking artists, the characters
we'd like to start with, and the background we want to start with. I think
if we do this we're going to have to pick one thing in each to begin with
and then when we have enough money, get a second one done (either the
background or the characters).
