It could also have something to do with how the files were built and
uploaded. Anyways, there's a nice extension for Firefox that allows
you to force the browser to display in a specific encoding. The
extension is called Charset Switcher.<span class=""><br>

character encoding. The browser expects the data to

iso-8859-1. If you have Firefox, go to view ->
character encoding, and select western. The page
renders as it's supposed to.

Removing them will make most of the diamonds

<div>I'm not sure what could have changed to cause
this. Most likely the configurations for the web
server have changed so that now the server is
serving pages as UTF-8 where it use to be serving
them as iso-8859-1. Although, when I look through
the HTML, I see two separate meta tags. The first
sets the character set as iso-8859-1, and the
second changes it to UTF-8. Removing that second
meta tag might fix the issue, but I don't have
enough practical experience with HTML to know for
sure. </div>

Apparently the files were uploaded with line

what is causing the issues. To give a good
example, when I'm looking at the file, I'm
seeing that instead of having everything

line break in the file. It'll be a big task to
fix it all, do to the complexity. </span>

Yes, that was merely a google custom
search page. I'm sure the syntax has
changed throughout the years. It
looks like the service is still
offered, so it's probably just a
matter of setting up a new one. <a href="https://cse.google.com/cse/" target="_blank"></a><a href="https://cse.google.com/cse/" target="_blank">https://cse.google.com/cse/</a><span class=""><br>

Regarding the domain, I do own and pay
for <a href="http://metamorkeep.com" target="_blank">metamorkeep.com</a>.Â
This is no big deal since it is a
pittance, however if someone else more
active in the community would like to
take up ownership, I certainly
wouldn't have any problem with that (I
have like seven of these things
anyway). Whoever takes it would have
to promise to be super attentive and
pay the bill on time to avoid a <a href="http://transform.to" target="_blank">transform.to</a>
situation though. ;)<br>
<br>
Somewhat related--I actually have the
domain pointing to my nameservers
before it goes to Xepher. This gives
us a little more control in case
people have their own sites or blogs
and want to use a subdomain or
something. E.g. <a href="http://mishablogsaboutmuffins.metamorkeep.com" target="_blank">
mishablogsaboutmuffins.metamorkeep.com</a><br>

it has gone away for now. <br>

<dd>The second problem is that the

deleting it and trying to
manually rerun it, the error
persists. In that case, the
reason it failed might be that
the account that the search

deleted, but this is all
conjecture as I am totally
unfamiliar with how Google's
custom search feature works. <br>

It may have been a slight

I'll still look into it and

whatever was happening was
simply a connection error. <br>
