I'm sure this is going to stun absolutely everyone, but I agree with 
Matty. ;-) Great noncanon concept, not so great in the long-term 
consequences if it were part of the canon universe.

Scholars of MK's traditional polytheistic faith named the moon and 
planets after the Titans:

Mercury = Fallos
Venus = Amara
Luna = Celine
Mars = Mephisto
Jupiter = Malekis
Saturn = Nathales
Uranus = Lykos
Neptune = Reshina

The remaining Titan, Salestra, is associated with the fixed stars rather 
than the planets, and does not have a planet named after him/her.

Naturally, the planets would have different names in different cultures, 
so the Red Planet could easily be both Mephisto and whatever Matty's 
characters called it.
