Kamau,

I referred to that meteor strike in a few of my stories, but I had it 
just south of the mountains separating the Valley from the Giant 
Downs.  I apologize for misunderstanding where you wanted that set.

As for Bryce's idea, I'm sure that both mages and scholars would 
study what they find, but I seriously doubt they could reverse 
engineer anything they find given their technological era.  There are 
just certain things about our technology, even with magic as an aid, 
that would not be possible for them to accomplish, although I'm sure 
it would give them lots of ideas and would advance their technology 
in certain directions.
