Subject: Twelfth Night Tales
I know what you're thinking - holy eggnog Indy, it's only June! But the summer solstice in the north is the winter solstice in the south, so why not make merry?
Given the less than participatory events of last year, I thought that maybe trying to appeal for Christmas stories earlier in the year might help us have some as a sort of group gift. They'd still only be published at Christmas, though.
My thoughts for the tales are along three paths:
1) World-building Tales: Tales of the Yule on a world that is not our Earth. They could each be told by travelers who have lodged at a Redwall-like place or while such are travelling along the way ala the Canterbury Tales. Naturally, all such tales should include a transformation. This one might need a lot of discussion to iron things out but could be worth it for the future.
2) Yuletide Tales: The tales are thematic in they all should have both transformations and a connection to the time of year. A story would need to include one of the following: a) the winter season or b) Yultide holidays (Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, New Year, etc.). (This is to allow someone that wants to do an Australian Christmas to have it take place in summer, for instance.) The individual tales could be dedicated to a member as a gift.
3) The Usual Suspects: The tales don't have much to do with one another other than being transformation themed. They can be dedicated to members on this list as personal gifts.
I could play narrator to try and connect or, at least, introduce each of the tales. Would anyone be interested? Thoughts on the proposal?

PS. I want to actually forward this to the TSA list but I keep getting an error about "non-text/plain MIME parts" despite copying and pasting this as plain text.
