[Mkguild] Crime and Punishment

It all depends on circumstance...
=A0
If the person went out, hunted down, stalked, and murdered each person in t=
urn... they'd probably be facing the gibbet.=A0 Unless the targets were Lut=
ins/Giants/baddies, well then it's just war.
=A0
If the person, say, caused the collapse of a bridge to stop an enemy horde =
from crossing, but in so doing caused the detachment of soldiers on the bri=
dge doing battle to fall to their deaths, well... that person might be repr=
imanded, but little beyond that.
=A0
Wanton death and destruction without any mitigating needs to do so would al=
ways result in extreme, and harsh, punishment.=A0 Thomas has no qualms abou=
t condemning anyone, even a friend, to the gibbet... but considering how em=
battled his kingdom is he would be trying to find some purpose for the cond=
emned, even if it meant sending them on a suicide mission into the heart of=
Nasojassa or just banishment from Metamor & the Northern Midlands as a who=
le.

As a general question, what kind of punishment would the High Court mete to
a mass (60+) mass murderess? Yes, the death penalty has never been okayed
by the Duke, but this may be a special case.

Any thoughts?
