This started as idle speculation, but I guess I need some specifics to get =
it resolved...

*SPOILER ALERT ZONE*

(scroll down at your own risk)

Okay, due to lack of any other idea of getting at the cult, and because she=
has reasonable proof that the Sword of Songs can detect cultists, Yvarra g=
oes from house to house full of sleeping cult families and slaughters them =
in their bed.

The individual cultists have not done anything directly against her. They =
were not actively engaged in attacking her -- they were sleeping when a sil=
ent thief/assasin slit their throats. Now, the cult itself, as an organiza=
tion, is actively working to capture/kill Yvarra along with summoning an El=
dar God to destroy the world.

Of course, there is no proof of this, and to everybody else at the keep, th=
e whole idea of this "cult" is a laughable myth.

So...

Case 1: Yvarra is caught by the watch before the Elder God (Cthulhu) is sum=
moned. She has been murdering cultists in their bed in her own private war=
without any proof. Magic does not work to detect the truthfulness of her =
statements due to her alicorn. There is no factual proof of her allegation=
s, the cult is believed to be a laughable myth. So, to the Duke, there is =
hard evidence that she has slaughtered 60+ people, in their beds, for an un=
verifiable reason that is widely disbelieved and/or ridiculed by his adviso=
rs.

Case 2: Yvarra eventually destroys said cult, finding her way into their la=
ir, etc. etc. Lots of secret battles in the crypts far beneath Metamor. L=
ots of dead cultists. At the end of it, she can show the authorities the cr=
ypts, possibly show what seems some kind of chamber set up for an unholy ar=
cane ritual. But, no ritual occurred. So, to the Duke, there is hard evid=
ence she has slaughtered 60+ people, in their beds, for an almost unverifia=
ble reason that is widely disbelieved and/or ridiculed by his advisors. Th=
e only "verification" are the crypts, and a possible chamber set up for an =
unholy arcane ritual.

Case 3: Yvarra eventually destroys said cult, finding her way into their la=
ir, etc. etc. The final destruction occurs during the actual summoning, wi=
th the aid of a member of the Long Scouts. The member of the Long Scouts c=
an report that something REALLY BAD was being summoned by a group hidden wi=
thin Metamor, and that through her actions, which he witnessed, the summoni=
ng was halted at the last moment. So, to the Duke, there is hard evidence =
that she has slaughtered 60+ people, in their beds. There was a cult of so=
me kind hidden beneath his hooves that did try to do something *REALLY BAD*=
and that Yvarra did stop them doing said *REALLY BAD* thing. This act has=
a reliable witness. However, there is still only Yvarra's word that the 6=
0+ people she murdered with cultists. There was no evidence in support of =
this recovered by the Euper Watch.

So, in each of these hypothetical cases, what does the Duke do to Yvarra to=
punish her for her "crimes", if he does anything at all, if they are even =
"crimes". NOTE: Yvarra does NOT deny that she killed the 60+ cultists in q=
uestion.
