For executing citizens of Met amor due process within the courts to verify =
any criminal action was undertaken by the deceased, Yvarra has violated the=
 most basic tennants of law, and both existing faiths.

Execution for murder would be in order.
=A0
Evidence of a *sigh* Cthulu cult in the catacombs of Metamor would go no wh=
ere when it comes to clearing her of the 60+ murders that occurred in the p=
rivate living quarters (i.e. beds) of the slain.=A0 Those slaughtered in th=
e activity of summoning said *sigh* cthuluan beastie are, de facto, enemies=
 of Metamor and no criminal action would come of their deaths.
=A0
With no evidenciary proof found during the intervening investigation(s) of =
those murders (any of which could have left more than enough evidence to ge=
t Yvarra locked up solidly in the Dungeons) that the deceased were involved=
 with the goings-on beneath the Keep (and Kyia unawares??) then the murders=
 would stand as crimes, not the elimination of enemy combatants.
Needless to say, 60 deaths would raise a very loud protest from the citizen=
s of metamor to find the responsible parties, especially if they happened o=
ver a small period of time.=A0 It is rather illogical that they would go un=
noticed or unremarked upon.=A0 That many deaths would be such news it would=
 be heard at a random streetcorners throughout the Euper, Metamor Town (Kee=
ptowne), and the Keep itself.

Thus, in my view, Yvarra should at the very least be banished forthwith fro=
m the borders of the Northern Midlands never to return on pain of swift exe=
cution.=A0 At the most she should be placed on the executioner's block and =
put to death.

Okay, due to lack of any other idea of getting at the cult, and because she=
 has reasonable proof that the Sword of Songs can detect cultists, Yvarra g=
oes from house to house full of sleeping cult families and slaughters them =
in their bed.

The individual cultists have not done anything directly against her.=A0 The=
y were not actively engaged in attacking her -- they were sleeping when a=
=A0silent thief/assasin slit their throats.=A0 Now, the cult itself, as an =
organization, is actively working to capture/kill Yvarra along with summoni=
ng an Eldar God to destroy the world.

Of course, there is no proof of this, and to everybody else at the keep, th=
e whole idea of this "cult" is a laughable myth.

So...

Case 1: Yvarra is caught by the watch before the Elder God (Cthulhu) is sum=
moned.=A0 She has been murdering cultists in their bed in her own private w=
ar without any proof.=A0 Magic does not work to detect the truthfulness of =
her statements due to her alicorn.=A0 There is no factual proof of her alle=
gations, the cult is believed to be a laughable myth.=A0 So, to the Duke, t=
here is hard evidence that she has slaughtered 60+ people, in their beds, f=
or an unverifiable reason that is widely disbelieved and/or ridiculed by hi=
s advisors.

Case 2: Yvarra eventually destroys said cult, finding her way into their la=
ir, etc. etc.=A0 Lots of secret battles in the crypts far beneath Metamor.=
=A0 Lots of dead cultists. At the end of it, she can show the authorities t=
he crypts, possibly show what seems some kind of chamber set up for an unho=
ly arcane ritual.=A0 But, no ritual occurred.=A0 So, to the Duke, there is =
hard evidence she has slaughtered 60+ people, in their beds, for an almost =
unverifiable reason that is widely disbelieved and/or ridiculed by his advi=
sors.=A0 The only "verification" are the crypts, and a possible chamber set=
 up for an unholy arcane ritual.

Case 3: Yvarra eventually destroys said cult, finding her way into their la=
ir, etc. etc.=A0 The final destruction occurs during the actual summoning, =
with the aid of a member of the Long Scouts.=A0 The member of the Long Scou=
ts can report that something REALLY BAD was being summoned by a group hidde=
n within Metamor, and that through her actions, which he witnessed, the sum=
moning was halted at the last moment.=A0 So, to the Duke, there is hard evi=
dence that she has slaughtered 60+ people, in their beds.=A0 There was a cu=
lt of some kind hidden beneath his hooves that did try to do something *REA=
LLY BAD* and that Yvarra did stop them doing said *REALLY BAD* thing.=A0 Th=
is act has a reliable witness.=A0 However, there is still only Yvarra's wor=
d that the 60+ people she murdered with cultists.=A0 There was no evidence =
in support of this recovered by the Euper Watch.

So, in each of these hypothetical cases, what does the Duke do to Yvarra to=
 punish her for her "crimes", if he does anything at all, if they are even =
"crimes".=A0 NOTE: Yvarra does NOT deny that she killed the 60+ cultists in=
 question.
